How can anyone truely still believe...


... that we are the only intellegent beings in the Universe after looking at an image like this.


"Some of the faintest objects in the picture are probably over 13 billion light-years away." 13 BILLION! Wow!

And if that wasn't wild enough, those are galaxies in that picuture, not stars! Each one of those specks of light could represent a galaxy much like our own Milkyway.

It just boggles my mind. I love it. The Universe is so amazing and we only know such a tiny tiny nanoscopic bit about it. Pictures like this make me glad I'm a geek and can truely appreciate the magnatude of it. I hope you can enjoy it equally.
